  • Dark or milk chocolate chips (1 cup)
  • White chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., chopped nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles)


  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Make sure they are completely dry, as any water can cause the chocolate to seize.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark or milk chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, covering it completely. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a parchment paper-lined tray.
  5. If desired, melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl and drizzle it over the chocolate-covered strawberries for a decorative touch.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your choice of toppings over the strawberries.
  7. Allow the chocolate to set by placing the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
